Config.json is the main file that drives the app's behaviour

Config.json is the main file that you'll edit when developing WAT apps.

Because WAT supports Windows and Windows Phone, there are two seperate config.json files with diferent capabilities. Many of the parameters are shared but some areas are unique to each platform.

In most cases, you should use the univeral app because that will apply to both Windows and Windows Phone 8.1. However, if the majority of your users to have Windows Phone 8.0 (the current version is 8.0 until Windows Phone 8.1 is released as a free upgrade in summer 2014), then you should use the Windows Phone Silverlight app.
